chapter 8

Files, Library System, Memory Ability

Introduction

Can we imprint the lessons we learn in order, one after the other, to our minds? Are there any methods to remember them in the same order? Do you know the technique to register them? Can I register just one row or multiple rows of lessons? Is it making it difficult for you to remember or collapse the words with each other when you try to remember them? Many questions may arise.

The art of files or library system memory answers all such questions. Yes, it is an amazing art of memory. Utilizing this, we can easily, quickly, and permanently memorize many subjects in our minds without changing the order.

Knowledge

This method is considered to be the most useful method because knowledge is sorted in files or library system memory. It is organized in a way that suits the nature of the brain and it is possible to refer back to anything very quickly and easily.

Memory Strategy

And since our own relations and friends occupy more participation in this methodology, they are so close to us, likable, and fuel our eagerness, that we can remember anything more clearly. So, it is a very suitable mnemonic method for learning anything sequentially. With this formalized memory strategy, our memory is shaped to such an extent that we can never forget. This version of memory is due to the quality of our imagination and the connections and associations we make.

Permanent Memory

We should first prepare a list of names of our nearest and dearest (each of us must have a unique permanent list)
arranged sequentially, and keep it permanently fixed in our minds. This is our permanent memory. This forms the basis of the memory power of this file system. It should be etched in our memory forever. Its order should never change. This list should always remain in our minds as a permanent order without leaving room for doubts.

For example: how do we store the capital of ten countries in a given order in our memory using this file or library system? When it is said that it is very important to keep the names and order in our memory without changing them, we shall learn how to keep them in our memory in order.

1. Madrid

The first person on our permanent memory file list is Father. So we have to connect father to the city of Madrid (Madrid) and imprint it in our minds. Imagine our father working in the city of Madrid, exaggerating or underestimating the place where he works, the building, the monthly income, using unforgettable and strong imaginative thoughts. From these data, as soon as the father comes into mind, you must remember that he works in the city of Madrid.

2. London

Similarly, Mother is second in our permanent file list. The second city on our list of memorizing cities is London. So now we have to connect Mother and the city of London and store it in our minds. Perhaps, if we imagine that our mother has a classmate who studied with her in the city of London and that our mother often talks to her on the phone, then as soon as we think of our mother, the city of London will come to our mind.

So, the words Madrid and London come to our mind when we think of father and mother. The order and the names of the cities remain unchanged in our memory.

3. Washington

Next, we should remember the third city of Washington. Currently, the third person in our permanent file memory list is Ezhil brother. We must associate the city of Washington with our Ezhil brother and engrave it in our memory. We can be able to remember this by imagining that our brother washes all of our clothes very hard and exaggerates or belittles in our mind’s eye with an unforgettable imagination. We will immediately remember that he washes all of our clothes with great difficulty. Then the city of Washington will come to our mind very easily. We can build our memory without changing the name and order.

4. Beijing

Next, the fourth-ranked city is Beijing. Beijing should be connected with the younger brother Mani, the fourth person on our permanent file memory list. Maybe if we remember that our younger brother went on a pleasure trip to Beijing, and we have photos of the Great Wall of China and the skyscrapers of Beijing in our home, then the fourth row and the place will be deeply imprinted in our minds. As soon as younger brother Mani comes to our mind, photos of our house and the city of Beijing will pop into our heads.

5. New Delhi

Next, the fifth city is New Delhi. This is our  permanent file that should be linked to our sister Malar, which is fifth on the memory list. Maybe our younger sister Malar wants to study as a doctor at AIIMS hospital in New Delhi and wants to work there and she will prepare all the necessary preparations herself.

Further, when we remember the fifth place, sister Malar and sister’s dream of becoming a doctor in AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi will come to our mind. Thus, connecting the city of New Delhi, which is the fifth place, with the idea of our sister Malar, the place and order will remain in our memory forever.

6. Colombo

Next, the city ranked sixth is Colombo. The sixth on our list of permanent memories is Muthu Uncle. If we remember that he would often share with us the story of his youthful trip to Colombo on a cruise, Uncle will come to mind as early as the sixth city. The stories of Colombo city that he told will also come to our memory. So immediately after the sixth, Muthu Uncle and the city of Colombo come to our mind.

7. Islamabad

Next, the seventh place is Islamabad. We must remember this seventh. Seventh in our permanent files memory list is Jyoti Aunt. If we remember that our Aunt was a Muslim, and remember her praying in the Islamic way and dressed like a Muslim, then Jyoti Aunt immediately comes to mind as a Muslim. Immediately the city of Islamabad also comes to our mind.

8. Roman City

Next in eighth place is Roman City. Eighth on our list of permanent memories is our Sundar brother. We should connect the city of Rome and Sundar brother and leave it in our memory. Perhaps if we imagine our Sundar brother growing his hair so long that he is mockingly nicknamed ‘Uromai’, we associate him with the city of Uromi. As soon as Sundar brother comes to our mind, long hair, hence the name Uromaiyar, and hence the city of Uromi will come to our mind.

9. Tokyo

Next, the ninth-ranked city is Tokyo. This city should be merged with our second sister Tamil. Perhaps if we imagine that our second sister, Tamil, is well-versed in Japanese and works in the Japanese Embassy, and many Tokyo friends come to our house to meet her, when we remember our sister Tamil, we remember that she speaks Japanese and has many friends in Tokyo.

10. Dubai

Finally, the tenth city we should remember is Dubai. Tenth in our permanent files memory list is our third sister Devi.We should associate him with the city of Dubai and keep it in our memory. If we imagine that Devi sister lives in Dubai with her family as her husband works in Dubai, and whenever she comes to our house, she brings lots of dates from Dubai, the name Devi sister immediately comes to our mind.

Library List

Thus, if we associate each city with the relevant contacts in our permanent files memory list, we can easily recall these cities anytime, anywhere, in order, from top to bottom, from bottom to top, and which city is in which order. Besides, which city is in fourth place? Or what city is in seventh place? And even if asked intermittently, we can pinpoint exactly which city it is. So, fourth in our permanent files or library memory list is our younger brother. As soon as we think of him, he went on a trip to Beijing. So the city of Beijing comes to mind. Likewise, our great Aunt is the seventh in our list of permanent files or library memory. She is a Muslim. So the city of Islamabad immediately comes to our mind.
